A full Performance Based Logistics (PBL) support contract has been signed between Italy’s Directorate for Air Armaments and Airworthiness (DAAA) and Boeing for the Italian Air Force’s four KC-767 Tankers. The contract extension is to be exceuted through December 2025.

According to Boeing, the PBL support contract “provides “tip to tail” support for the four ItAF refueling tankers, including line and heavy maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), supply chain, engineering support, publications revisions, and flight and maintenance training.”

For the Italian Air Force, Boeing’s continous support has helped deepen a critical partnership enabling the KC-767s to perform flawlessly in various operational contexts since 2011 conducting more than 9,000 missions, accumulating 36,000 flight hours, and offloading more than 123 million pounds of fuel.
