Air France To Re-Instate Paris To Newark Daily Flight

On July 28th, Air France announced it would resume flying directly fom Paris-Charles de Gaulle International airport to New York-Newark Liberty International airport beginning on December 12th 2022. The flights will operate daily using the company’s Boeing 777-228ER (Boeing 777-200ER) aircraft with a capacity of 280 seats configured with 40 Business Class seats, 24 Premium Economy seats and 216 Economy Class seats. The aircraft are all equipped with Wi-Fi connection onboard.

From December 12th, Air France flight 062 will depart Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 12:30 local time and arrive at Newark airport at 15:00. The return flight designated Air France flight 063 will leave New York’s Newark Liberty at 17:05, and arrive at Paris Charles De Gaulle at 06:05 the next morning.

The new flight to Newark only re-instates the former daily Paris to Newark flights which the airline had terminated in 2012. In fact Air France had operated up to two daily flights to Newark, in the New York City Metropolitan area at some point until 2012 when it was decided to forgo Newark and consolidate all its flight operations at New York’s John Fitzgerald Kennedy International Airport. the return to Newark now comes in addition to another 6 daily flights Air France operates daily to New York JFK alongside another two similar flights operated by SkyTeam Alliance partner Delta airlines.
