Qatar Airways To Resume Flights To Malaga This Summer With A350May 26, 2021
A receding global pandemic and a more widespread availability of vaccines is generating fresh optimism for the travel industry with some operators ramping up their offerings, just in time for the upcoming summer travel season. Today, Qatar Airways Group CEO Akbar Al Baker announced the resumption of flights to Malaga, the carrier’s third spanish destination.
With the newly revised flight schedules covering the summer travel season through September 12th, Qatar Airways is deploying its newer Airbus A350-900 aircraft fitted with 36 business class seats and 247 economy seats. The flights will depart the airline’s Doha global hub on friday and sunday beginning July 2nd. For its Spain service, the company which had consistently won awards with its business class cabin is complementing the two weekly Malaga flights with seven weekly flights to Bracelona and ten weekly flights to Madrid. The service to Malaga first began in June 2018 offering global travelers the opportunity to connect from its Doha, Qatar gobal hub. In late March 2020, the travel restrictions brought about by the Covid 19 pandemic began impacting negatively, forcing Qatar Airways flight to curtail its flight operations to Spain.
