SAIC Awarded $378 Million By FAA For Workforce Technology Innovation Contract

Reston, Va based  Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has been awarded a $378 million contract the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to enhance workforce technology delivery. During the 10-year performance duration, as stipulated by the contract, SAIC will put its desk support, business and administrative systems infrastructure support, training services, and IT asset management expertise at the service of the FAA’s workforce.

Core to the SAIC offering is its U-Centric solution taylored to enrich an organisation’s workforce user experience. The U-Centric solution incorporates “machine learning, intelligent automation, predictive analysis, and self-healing capabilities into a customer’s IT infrastructure to modernize service operations” SAIC claims. For instance the Barista personnal assisstant will deploy Artificial Intelligence in order to answer specific questions to end-users.
