Turkish Airlines has added a sixth Boeing 777F to its dedicated Turkish Cargo operation.
The new airplane was officially handed over to Turkish Airline on October 7th 2019 at Boeing Everett Paine Airport before immediately departing for Instanbul’s Ataturk Airport.
This aircraft, the sixth Boeing 777F to join Turkish Cargo fleet brings the carrier’s total freighter fleet to 24. Together with 10 Airbus 330-200F, 4 Boeing 747-400F, 3 Airbus 310-300F and 1 Airbus 300-600F, Turkish Cargo is currently serving 88 cargo destinations.
It is expected that by 2020, eight Boeing 777F will be in service with the carrier, as it makes a bid to become one of the world’s top five global air cargo brands by 2023.
